In the forum recently I've mentioned action behind the scenes this season. Well the word is out so here is a pre-launch announcement. Your committee has managed to negotiate a new sponsorship deal this season and hopefully ongoing for both the League and the League Cup.
We are delighted to welcome "Ten17 FM" as the new league sponsors. They will be giving us a regular weekly bulletin on their local sports news roundup as well as helping the league with its other activities. More details will follow with an official launch planned for April 10th at the spring meeting.
We would like to thank our previous sponsors The Herts and Essex Observer for their years of support. They have been with us since the league began and have helped the league develop. Generously they have wished us well for the future and will continue to cover the league in the paper.
We are also delighted to announce an extension in the involvement of the Herts and Essex Cricket Centre who are taking over from Batchelors as sponsors of the League cup. The Cup will now be known as the HECCsports cup and clearly demonstrates their commitment to supporting our league. Once again we thank them.
Finally a big thank you to your committee who have worked tirelessly over the winter months to consolidate the league as it has grown over recent years. We are now in a position to move forwards with confidence.
