white balls for the league cup?

We've just spent £1000 on a sightscreen for one end of our ground. What should we do: play with a red ball at one end and a white one at the other? Only joking...

Possibly a good idea for those of us who can cobble together a midweek team, but you only have to look at the number of walkovers to realise it wouldn't work.

Just an idea for the league cup for next season. most grounds dont have sightscreens so why not give it a go? Im sure if we all tried we could wear matching coloured tops and make these games a bit more fun as well. also it must be easier to see a white ball coming out of trees!!! :-)

we actually spoke about coloured tops when we got our new white ones this year it would make the competition a lot different and alot nearer our county players

Any thoughts also about having group stages early on, maybe with groups of 4, so that everyone has at least 3 games. I know it might be tricky with many teams also in the Davies cup, but as far as I'm concerned, the more 20 over midweek cricket the better.
