I can see where your coming from fella but there are some practicalities to consider - If the match is in the afternoon what would teams do about friendly’s that are already arranged. If in the morning then the Junior matches may be affected. There's no easy option and personally I enjoy the evening matches (batting at 9, not bowling, but as the captain says I do a damn fine job of looking after the book!)

heres another of my (great/stupid ideas)

after the group stages of the leagues cup, it does become difficult for sides to get to evening fixtures, due to the ever increasing demographics of teams, so why not have a 20/20 finals day on a sunday?

The day could also possibly be used as a fundraiser for the league
