Hold fire for a bit. Part of the sponsorship deal we have in the pipeline involves supplying shirts to clubs with both the league logo and your club logo, Including artwork. Possibly with piping in your clubs colours as well. The existing league logo good or bad was designed by yours truly and I have the jacgaurd the embroiders need to stitch it. I can get your club logo in the same format which will allow you to use it at most suppliers in the future. The cost is small and you have it to keep.

Myself and Bob have been discussing deals with several suppliers and are comfortable we can beat any price and quality you would be able to get on your own. I've dealt with quite a few suppliers in the past and we have contacts that are able to supply everything you need at a price that will allow you to make some funds for your club.

If you want to discuss anything in detail send me an email. I'll try and help. I'm reluctant to say too much at present as we are still in the process of agreeing the deal but it should be real good. For stitching alone one of our sponsors already provide a good service, that we have used both at Thorley and for the league rep shirts. We hope to be in a position to provide a top quality shirt by the start of the new season for any clubs that want to use them.

The deal that is most likely to arise will be for shirts only. Neither Bob nor myself would have the extra time inoilved in finding and delivering other items. As far as the shirts are concerned I doubt if any club will be able to beat the price and you'll still be able to make a bit for club funds. Timescale would be aimed at the start of the new season.

Andrew are you including stitching on those prices and the artwork? If anyone wants to find there own kit and have it stitched have a word with HECC they do a first class job are local and sponsor the league. There prices are better than most as well. If anyone wants to have the league logo on any club gear contact me as I have the artwork you'll need. Same if you want to get your logo prepared for stitching I can get that done at a very good price. Be wary of companies that quote an included price for the logo prep. You have no control over the quality and often don't own the resulting file. Be warned.

I have to speak to Bob soon so I'll raise the subject with him again and see where we stand.

The latest on the league shirts.

We are hoping to be able to supply the shirts for around £12 - £13 with the league logo stitched. We would also be able to offer a stitching service to have your own club logo on the shirt for about another £2 per shirt. The exact costs are still being worked on but will not be far off these estimates. These prices will be based on a batches of 20 shirts which most clubs should be able to sell on.

It is hoped we will be able to provide shirts starting sometime in March.

If anyone needs help getting their club logo into the correct format or needs to get it digitally masterd or redesigned let me know. I'd be happy to try and help.

Bob and myself are in the process of getting a sample stitched and once this is done I'll post a few pictures and a comparative review against other popular shirts to give an idea of what is on offer.

We are just about their now. The shirts have been approved and a sample stitched for me to put some pics up here. I was to collect it off Bob last week but with the snow things got delayed. Hopefully a full detailed outline will be on the site here in the very near future. Same goes for the fixtures but thats just me being a bit lazy :-D Watch this space.

Hi Paul,
We currently pay about £16.50 for shirts through Morrant (inc stitching). The problem with them is that altough their price is keen, the time between the order being placed and delivery can range between 2 to 6 weeks which is an issue.
I would be very keen to get details of this deal when completed. Please get in touch.

Paul, we'll be interested at South Loughton as well. We normally deal with Smasher Sports who have done a good job in the past. In addition to match shirts, we're planning tracksuits, coloured Twenty20 shirts and junior kit. FYI, the prices we've been quoted from Smasher are (all including embroidery):

Junior shirt and cap £20
Junior shirt, cap and tracksuit £45
Adult shirt, t-shirt or shorts, polo shirt or sweatshirt, cap or sunhat £40
Adult tracksuit, shorts, shirt and cap £50
Adult tracksuit, t-shirt and Twenty20 shirt £50

PLus £3.50 for name and number on the back.

What's the timescale for the deal through the league sponsors? This may be the key factor in determining whether we go with Smasher or through the league.

Just wondered where everyone got their embroidered club kit from, and what sort of price do they pay? Having acquired a sponsor for the coming season, we are looking to get some shirts done with our club logo and the sponsor's logo on as well, if anyone knows of a decent firm who can do this let me know.

There are a number of companies that can do this for you

Dependant on the quality of shirts you want i can reccomend the following

Warsop - Very Good Quality Shirts but you will pay around the £25-30 mark

Lords International - mid range but reasonably priced around the £20 -25 mark

Morrant - Cheaper quality shirt around the £20 mark
