Sorry guys I thought I had them posted. I'll do it ASAP and paste a link.

The games normally start at 6pm but check with your skipper.

Newport v Stansted Hall. Little Munden v Thorley.
Elsenham v Thaxted. Bishop's Stortford v Westmill.
Farnham v Stansted. Ardeley Walkern v Harlow Town.

Forthcoming HECCSport Cup matches 22nd May.
East. South.
High Roding v Hatfield Heath. Roding Valley v Nazeing Common.
Hockerill v Matching Green. South Loughton v Theydon Bois.
Cloghams v Takeley.

Can I suggest a some changes to the rules of the 20/20 Cup for next season. The rule regarding what should happen in the event of bad weather isn't very clear. I was annoyed this evening to drive all the way to Walkern only to be told we should replay the match (no fault of Ardeley Walkern CC btw). Rule 15 in the handbook seems to suggest a bowl off in the event of bad weather but replays are not mentioned, it should be made clearer what to do.

Also Rule 6 suggesting a replay if runs and wickets are tied is unnecessary. A result should be made on the night in my opinion, just add in that the team scoring most runs after 15 overs wins for example.

I agree with Marc about the rules not being clear....

The published rules seemed to be clear at first - ie: bowl-off or coin-toss should the fixture not be completed, but following a conversation with Bob the interpretation was very different. So even though I didn't have far to go (as it was a home game) I can imagine it must have been really frustrating for the Harlow Town boy's having travelled so far without good reason. Had it been clear we could re-arrange the game we would have done so earlier in the day when it was clear no game could take place on the pitch due to the rain.

I know how I would have felt were the shoe on the other foot.

What is the latest news on the next round of the HECC Cup? Have all the first round matches been played?
