We are going to have a 6 a side comp this bank holiday can you guys suggest the best format that you have played

6 teams

5 over games 1 over per player

retire at 25

any other ideas :lol:

6 teams of 7 players. Two round robins of 3 teams. Semi finals, final and wooden spoon final. Everyone then gets at least three games. We start at 10.30 in the morning and keep going until done.

We also play a "Joker over" in each innings in which all runs are doubled unless a wicket is lost in which case they score normal. The scorer announces the over chosen by the batting side after the first ball of the over is bowled so as the bowling side cannot change the bowler for a ringer.

I doubt it due to a recurring back injury. Painful trapped nerve and impacted discs. :(
