View Full Version : Anybody fancy a Sunday friendly?
Bearski,
If you click on the "post your news" link in the menu and fill out the form, I'll post this on the home page for you. That goes for any other club news or fixture requests clubs may have.
Ive had a few requests from clubs looking for fixtures recently via the website, so I might look into creating a "club and ground availability" section if I can think of a decent way to structure it. Any ideas?
Paul
I'll look into sorting something out for this. The most practical solution I can think of at the moment is to create a "club diary" page that people can add requests to asking for fixtures or advertising ground availability.
Anything else that needs to be included??

A 'fixture and ground exchange' section would be really useful, both now – for example, we're fielding a Saturday 3rd XI when numbers permit and using the CCC to arrange games – and during the winter when some dates across the various XIs invariably become free. All you need is a simple mechanism to post vacant dates, with respondents replying directly by email/phone to the club that made the posting plus a cc to you as webmaster.

Aspenden, Standon and Puckeridge are looking for anyone with spare dates on a Sunday from the 18th of July onwards until the 2nd week in September, only the 1st of August is out as it is our President's day. If anyone is interested in a fixture against a pretty young and inexperienced side, just let me know, home or away it doesn't matter. You can contact me(Michael Strange) on 01763 849622 or e-mail bear@theasps157.freeserve.co.uk
Thanks
Bear
